We began each day in kindergarten with our pledge:
Today I will do my best to be my best
I will listen
I will follow directions
I will be honest
I will respect the right of others
I can learn I will learn
You see I know it’s all up to me
Be safe Be kind Be respectful Be responsible
Today it’s up to the citizens to be gracious in victory or gracious in defeat. We are role models for our children and they hear and act upon everything we say and do. (They often report what you say to their kindergarten teachers.) The choice of behavior is ours no matter what anyone else does or says.
In everything I do I will try and show love and peace. How about you?
